Lager-loving lady of the North exploring and enjoying this dusty Southern City.

I was born close enough to Manchester to leave it at that. The first few times I ever took the tube I liked to read poetry during the commute, but you can’t succesfully go about your day with that much sentimentality on your back. Naturally I started looking for more appropriate morning reading. . . and so I’m writing this blog, designed to be the kind of material I’d like to read on the tube. Not too lengthy or too bite-sized, a bit different from your general feed and hopefully something to think about without making you cry 20 minutes before your lunch break because ‘life is just so short!’ – blegh!

So enjoy the blog that’s taking you onwards and upwards! I’m razzing around the City in search of a story. Thanks for coming along.
